Ali Kozak is the Executive Assistant to four executive leaders of the Ellison Institute. She provides support to the operational endeavors of the financial, facilities, legal, and special projects departments of EITM. She brings with her the experience of anticipating and evaluating needs, issues, and risks from her prior experience in strategic consulting in business immigration that ranged from government strategies and compliance, planning for mergers and acquisitions, and consular and document support. She also previously worked at a consulting firm that advised global brands and organizations including Dove, Mattel, Warner Bros and Fortune 500 to better reflect people in their media, marketing, advertising, and workforce. Most recently, Ali came from Grant Tani Barash & Altman, a business management firm specializing in the motion picture and film industry where she provided direct support as Executive Assistant to Howard Altman in managing highly confidential personal, property, business, and financial matters for clients.
Ali holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was nominated and selected by faculty in the School of Politics and Global Studies for the Junior Fellows Program, where she researched, collected, and analyzed information on the political participation of women in Latin America and examined the institutional barriers to women’s descriptive representation in Latin America. An Orange County native, she loves exploring Los Angeles by foot, attending live theater and music venues, and hosting dinner parties for family and friends.
