Mickey Huang is a Research Lab Specialist for the Drug Discovery Lab at the Ellison Institute of Technology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.

Although she was raised in southern California, she spent 13 years in Boston, Massachusetts. While in Boston, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry in “little pharma” and in academic research at the Laboratory of Drug Discovery in Neurodegeneration (LDDN) when it was part of the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center. During her time in “little pharma” and at Harvard, she became a specialist in high throughput screening (HTS) and automation in the world of drug discovery.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Millie Mayhem, and has slowly come to the realization that she is Millie’s “emotional support human”.
