Nissi Paidimukkala is passionate about research in precision medicine and analysis of genome data to better understand pathology of cancer and their related pathways. She has worked on next generation sequencing (NGS) and omic data on different cancer tissue types. In her graduate studies, Dr. Paidimukkala focused on identifying key long non-coding RNAs and mRNAs involved in skin cancer stem cells and skin cancer. She enjoys downstream data analysis and biological interpretation of NGS data.

Dr. Paidimukkala received her master’s in biology and PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Minnesota. She loves traveling, trying new food and reading books. She likes to volunteer her time with grassroots organizations on weekends to be involved in the community.
